Underwater Meditation

Wild waters can serve as medicine for caregivers, patient families, and all who are part of patients’ circles of support.

Dr. Wallace J. Nichols

Water can make us mentally well. In 2021 I discovered the healing power of water with my life partner. As a Breathwork facilitator and certified Scuba Diver, I feel the call to connect collective humanity to utilize water as a healing tool from systemic oppression.

Breathwork is a set of indigenous breathing practices in which we control our breathing to shift our mental, emotional or physical state. Combined with 30 minutes of underwater submersion, the mental health benefits of this practice are excellent. Please check my events page for upcoming underwater breathwork in Las Vegas, Nevada, Cozumel, Mexico, or through our non-profit Iwosan Collective.

Through the Iwosan collective, I work with individuals and groups looking to use water to heal, connect, and deepen their meditative practices. I also work with neuroscientists, marine biologist, and ocean advocates to collect data on the power of meditation and water healing.
