Radical Rest

“If Black women were free, it would mean that everyone else would have to be free since our freedom would necessitate the destruction of all the systems of oppression.”

— The Combahee River Collective

I desire to be seen as Black and a Woman. I desire to be seen as Black and soft. After being consumed as a commodity for the last three years.

  • I’ve created courses & community for white-bodied folx to heal their relationship with Privilege.

  • I’ve shown up for everyone else, disconnected from my family and self-defined vision while simultaneously being hyper-aware that I’m putting myself on the back burner.

  • I’ve been diagnosed with hashimoto’s, putting my body in overdrive, raising 3 neurodiverse children, and STILL showing up for the collective.

  • No matter what I have done, the demands of whiteness have made me feel like it’s never enough.

Support Myishas Rest

I am Black and beautiful. Like you, my life has been full of nuance and trauma, and as an ode to Langston Hughes’s “Mother to Son,” we can say “My life isn’t no crystal stair.”

Heal Your Way Forward- myisha t hill

I can be resilient AND demand Rest. I can be strong AND demand Softness. I can be benevolent AND demand boundaries. Today,  I am manifesting rest, softness, and boundaries. I am launching my Radical Rest campaign and asking for your support in these manifestations.
